 OFFICIAL MONTHLY AND CLASSIC TOURNAMENT RULES

 

 

Rule I

Rule change: The following rules will remain unchanged  unless changed by vote of the Board of Directors

 

Rule II

Tournament winners will be determined by the total pounds and ounces of large mouth and spotted bass caught during the tournament. Each contestant must keep his catch separate from that of his partner

 

RULE III

All large mouth must be the lake limit and spotted and redeye bass must be 12 inches or longer. The weigh master will measure the smallest fish in the creel  of each participant to ensure there the minimal length. The fish will be measured with the mouth closed and tail fin pinched

 

RULE IV

Any member bringing more than five fish to the scales will be culled down to five fish starting with the largest fish

 

RULE V

In case of a tie. The member with the largest single fish will win

 

RULE VI

A club member may not allow any bass caught by him to be counted  on the score of another member. In such case, both members will be disqualified. 

 

RULE VII

The tournament headquarters will be a location at the lake’s parking lot. All tournaments will start at safe light and end at 3pm Eastern time

 

RULE VIII

A members boat may not fish within 50 yards of another members boat without permission of the member who was first there.

 

RULE IX

Club members who return late during a tournament will be penalized one pound for each minute from that days catch. After 15 minutes, he will be disqualified from the tournament. If a member assists another  member during a tournament who is in distress and will not be able to meet weigh in time, it will be his responisbility to notify a member of the club to verify possession of the legal fish. Upon verification, the weigh master will be notified and the fact that you were aiding a distressed member and your catch will be counted

 

RULE X

Tournament entry fees  will be  $25.00 +$5.00 for big fish $30.00 per person payable to the club treasurer at the tournament meeting or blast off site

 

RULE XI

Safe boating conduct must be observed at all times. Caution and safety on blast off must be observed.  A lifesaving device must be worn during blast off

 

RULE XII

Every boat must meet standard safety requirements

 

RULE XIII

No one will participate in a tournament while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs

 

RULE XIV

Only artificial lures may be used

 

RULE XV

Trolling or wading will not be permitted

 

RULE XVI

The interpretation and endoresement of the tournament rules shall be left exclusively to the  Board of Directors. Their decisions will be final

 

RULE XVII

There will be 17 torunaments per year excluding declared natural disasters. Fishing :

10 participants or less pay will place one places.

 11-15 participants pays two places

16-20 participants pays 3 places 

21-25 participants pays 4 places

26 an over pays 5 places

 

RULE XVIII

No new members may join the club after the first day of June but he or she may fish in each tournament the rest of the year

 

RULE XIX

All  boaters will alphabetically by there preferred name take turns letting non-boater fish on there boat
